Background
Finance and Economics Letters (FEL) is a peer-reviewed open access journal established under the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The journal was proposed to enhance the international visibility of the School and to provide a platform for the rapid dissemination of high-quality research and innovative perspectives in finance and economics.
FEL publishes concise and impactful scholarly contributions that advance both theoretical and empirical understanding in financial and economic analysis. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research and welcomes contributions that offer practical implications for policymakers, practitioners, and students.

Publication Model
- Two issues per year (March and November)
- Approximately 10 articles per issue
- Maximum 2,500 words per article (excluding references, tables, and figures)
- Open Access journal
- Target indexing: MyCite and Scopus within three years
