Ethno-Ornithology Letters (ETHNOLETS) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by UPM Press. It publishes concise, accessible and impactful letters focusing on the interface of birds, culture, communities and conservation.

ETHNOLETS seeks to capture voices and insights from field practitioners, indigenous knowledge holders, interdisciplinary researchers and civil society actors working at the convergence of ornithology, anthropology and sustainability.

Grounded in the principles of co-creation of knowledge, ETHNOLETS provides a unique platform for real-world reflections, practices and observations from diverse ecological and cultural landscapes.

ETHNOLETS publishes two issues annually, in March and October, each featuring approximately 10 letters. The journal operates on a rolling submission model within structured windows to ensure timely review and publication.
