Call For Papers

ETHNOLETS publishes two issues annually, in May and November, each featuring approximately 10 letters. The journal operates on a rolling submission model within structured windows to ensure timely review and publication.

Authors are encouraged to submit early during the open submission window to allow sufficient time for editorial feedback and revisions.

Each issue features approximately 10 letters related to ethno-ornithology and relevant community-based research.

How to Submit

Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system. ETHNOLETS uses a 2-step online submission system. Each ETHNOLET letter should follow the format provided in the guidelines section.

Submit Manuscript Online

All submissions should include:

  • The Letter, approximately 3,000 words
  • A short abstract, 150–200 words
  • Author bio, maximum 100 words each
  • Optional: 2–3 figures or photographs
  • Statement of positionality or relationship to the subject/community
  • References in APA format

Note: Authors are advised to submit their letters early within the submission window to allow enough time for review, feedback, revision, and final layout preparation.
